Here are some pictures we took of the LST (Landing Ship Tank) 325 which docked at Hannibal last week. Grandpa (Dad, Santiago) spent some time on one like this in WWII in the Pacific. This particular one was used in the Sicily and D-Day invasions. More info can be found at the LST Ship Memorial webpage, or this article from the Hannibal Courier-Post.
1. Looking from the stern (rear) of the ship.
2. From the bow (front).
3. From across the river (sorry for the poor quality).
4. Inside the storage area (big enough for twenty Sherman tanks).
We are happy (and surprised) to announce that Deann is expecting. We aren't sure of the exact due date but it should be sometime in April. These Lebron family get togethers are getting bigger and bigger every year! :)
